My Personal Testimony

The Intervention: A Personal Encounter with the Light

I love life and I love my faith. I have a deep love for the Creator of all life and for the Messiah He sent 🙏🏼

A few years ago I was saved from death, and ever since then I have been earnestly searching for truth and wisdom. Although it may be difficult for some to believe — and I fully understand people’s scepticism — in 2009 the Messiah appeared to me in his spirit in my bedroom and delivered me from a demon while I was suicidal.

On 29 April 2009, Yahshua (Jesus) staged a total intervention in my life. After I spent the day crying out for relief from spiritual torment, he visited me at 3:00 am and peeled a literal, multidimensional parasite out of my body.

It had been woven into every part of me, but after forty minutes of deliverance, it was cast out. I watched its serpentine silhouette flee across the room, and for the first time in my life, I knew true peace. That night, Yahshua broke every chain that held me ⛓️‍💥

I have a detailed testimony video about this experience that you can watch via a link at the end of this page. I recorded it in 2011 during my transition away from the church system. To hear the specific details of my deliverance and the encounter that changed everything, skip to 24:33, where I break down exactly what occurred.

The Search for Truth: Navigating the Leaven of Men

When I was young, I was incredibly naive. I didn’t realise the consequences of living immorally — abusing substances, neglecting myself, and harbouring a constant anger at the world. This bitterness was the result of a deep trauma I suffered as a child. Just when I reached the point where I could no longer endure the wreckage of my life, the Messiah visited me and helped me.

After that encounter I visited many churches, but I found they had inherited pagan traditions and lies. On top of that, the teachings of the Messiah had been largely replaced by the lawless doctrines of Saul (also known as Paul).

Because of bad experiences in churches, I began exploring other belief systems — Talmudic Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Gnosticism, Islam, Paganism, New Age movements, and more. Yet I always kept the Messiah first in my heart ❤️

I eventually realised that none of those paths could give me the deep love and Light I had found in the Bible. While I discovered partial truths and met good people along the way, nothing compared to what I experienced in Scripture. Despite its scribal perversions and uninspired additions, the Bible still carries the true Light — and nothing else has ever come close.

It gives us the commandments and moral codes for righteous, healthy, and clean living. It contains amazing history and stories, the divinely inspired words of the Prophets, and finally, the greatest hero this world has ever seen — the amazing Messiah Yahshua!

🙌🏼 HalleluYah 🙌🏼

The Narrow Way: Faith Alone vs. Obedience

Many believers claim that Yahshua taught salvation by faith alone. They often point to verses such as John 11:25-26 where he says, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die”.

But they fail to realise that believing in him means far more than mental agreement. True belief in Yahshua includes obeying him.

From the very beginning of his ministry, he commanded:

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand”. Matthew 4:17

He also warned:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord’, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven”. Matthew 7:21

“These people honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men”. Matthew 15:8-9

“If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me”. Matthew 16:24

And he made it very clear:

“If you want to enter life, keep the commandments”. Matthew 19:17

He further declared:

“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to complete. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven”. Matthew 5:17-20

The Rod of Correction: A Hard Lesson in Repentance

In 2011, I learned this the hard way. I failed to turn from my sins and became seriously ill for several years. I had foolishly turned back to substance abuse, sexual immorality, and even self-harm, which led to an emergency hospital visit. I was afflicted and chastised for my own good.

Through that deep pain and struggle, I finally learned to fully repent and break free from my previous destructive patterns. I know I was made sick to teach me, even though I struggled with it, I knew it was to help me learn to overcome and change — Proverbs 3:11–12, Job 5:17, Psalm 119:71, Revelation 2:22, 3:19

If we are truly saved by faith alone through grace, then why doesn’t the Messiah teach that? He never mentioned the word “grace”. And why do so many believers still suffer when they choose not to repent?

🤔

For me, the answer became clear through my own pain and struggle. The Messiah didn’t come to offer us a cheap ticket to heaven while we keep living in immoral or self-destructive ways. He came to call us into a genuine relationship with the Father — a relationship built on love, repentance, and obedience.

That is the narrow way. And by his love, I am still walking it, one day at a time.

🙌🏼 HalleluYah! 🙌🏼
